Brewer

Job Description Maintain and execute all functions according to policy and procedure, safety requirements, and best practice. Tasks include all aspects of product development, sourcing and handling of raw materials, brewing beer, and quality control. Job Responsibilities - Including, But Not Limited To The Following · Operation of 4 vessel 25bbl brew house · Fermentation monitoring · Perform FV and BBT CIPs, while maintaining our quality-focused SOPs · Yeast pitching/health management · Raw material and finished product handling; Forklift operation · Monitor gravities, temperatures, off flavors, and carbonations daily · Knowledge of canning process on Wild Goose · Basic brewery equipment maintenance, manual cleaning and facilities maintenance · Ensure that security and safety procedures are adhered to per SOPs · Communicate regularly and efficiently with staff · Assist other departments when necessary Qualifications · Comprehensive understanding of brewing science, production, and cellar operations · A passion for beer and the work it takes to make it · High-level verbal and written communication capacity · A team player who works with others to achieve a common goal · Have flexibility in schedule to work days, nights, and weekends as needed · Fork Truck/Scissor Lift experience preferred · Must be at least 21 years of age Compensation and Benefits Pay range is $18-21 per hour with the rate being determined by experience and may include health insurance, monthly meal credit, and paid time off.
