Brewery Packaging Technician

Trillium operates a production brewery and taproom in Canton, a greenhouse-inspired brewery and taproom in Fenway, a beer garden and brewery on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, and a brewery, taproom, and restaurant in Boston’s historic Fort Point neighborhood. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Set up, operate, and clean bottle and can packaging line equipment • Record production data and quality control data for each packaging run • Package finished beer into kegs • Perform CIP of packaging equipment • Operate keg washer • Assist brewers and cellar crew in maintaining a clean workspace • Ensure all packaging materials are staged to meet production needs daily • Work with the Facilities team to troubleshoot issues with machines to minimize downtime • Communicate and coordinate with others to hand stack cases at discharge of packers • Adhere to Trillium’s strict Quality Control practice Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. Desired Qualifications & Abilities Experience • Packaging line experience preferred • Forklift experience preferred but Trillium will provide training Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Must be safety conscious and able to work efficiently in a busy, close quartered environment • Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with strict safety protocols • Mechanically minded- ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with equipment • Organized with great attention to detail • Ability to work in a well-coordinated team setting • Ability to life 55 lbs and slide 160 lb kegs throughout the course of a workday • Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time Benefits: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with employer contribution • Annual tuition reimbursement • Long term disability, short term disability, and life insurance, 100% company paid • Trillium comp card • 401K plan with company match • Philanthropy match • Paid time off • Discounts on Trillium merchandise
