National Account Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our fast-growing team! This position will be working directly with major retailers to grow and develop the Waterbird brand in both the small format and large format Classes of Trades.

JOIN THE WATERBIRD TEAM! Founded in 2019, Waterbird Spirits is The Better-For-You Canned Cocktail Made with Real, Premium Distilled Spirits! Waterbird is rapidly growing with the best distributors and retailers in the industry! This position will report directly to our VP of National Accounts and work closely with our VP of Sales and distributor network. RESPONSIBILITIES - Development effective working retail relationships at all levels within assigned national, regional and franchisee Convenience and Small Format retailers. - Secure new distribution of Waterbird Spirits brands by understanding retailer needs and goals. - Develop and sell trade programming based on retailer and market needs. - Secure ads, features, and programs to drive sales within retailers and drive execution through wholesalers with the geographic sales team. - Develop and sell national and regional programming to drive velocity of new and existing distribution to achieve the Waterbird Annual plan. - Communicate results to the Waterbird Sales team and distributor network to ensure execution of new distribution and programming. - Be the expert to share trends and analysis to retailers and distributors on the Convenience COT and the RTD spirits category. - Have Fun Selling Great Tasting, Better-For-You RTD Spirits! EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS - 5+ Years in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, beverage preferred, with a strong understanding of category management. -Proven ability to build effective relationships, communicate and follow through with retailers, coworkers and distributors. - Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to leverage syndicated data to sell Waterbird brands and build leadership in the RTD spirits category. -Ability to manage resources to achieve ROI and drive the Waterbird Annual Plan. - This is a Fully Remote Position - Bachelor’s Degree Required - Overnight travel, retailer conferences and entertainment Required - Prior Experience with VIP and syndicated data - Reliable Car, Valid Driver’s License, Clean Driving Record COMPENSATION - Compensation Will be Highly Competitive.
